If my uncle is my great grandmas only surviving child and he has her house but its still in her name how can he let me have it?
See he is the last child left and the house is in her name but he wants to give it to me so i can get it in my name what does he have to do, legally?

This woman was somebody my parents trusted for years to do financial things for them. Before my dad died, he made her and her husband promise that my mom would never be put into a nursing home. Somehow she became POA, and I didn’t dispute it at the time, since I live so far away (Florida) and figured it would be easier to have the POA in the same town as my mom. Several years later, this woman moved to a different state. However, she still maintains control. At some point, the POA called mom’s live-in caregiver (we’ll call her G) and asked her how she’d feel if my mom were put into a nursing home. G strongly objected. Months later, this POA flew down and said it had all been arranged, and it was just “temporary”. This was mid January, and it was supposedly just for a month to give G a break, but she is still there!

How should I handle this?

I’m being contacted by a private investigator who was hired by a law firm. He is threatening to have the law firm subpoena me if I don’t speak with him. He is contacting me in regards to an accusation against my elderly parent who I’m partially estranged from. Should I confront my parent about these accusations and alert my parent to the fact that I’m being roped into this? I don’t know anything about this matter and my parent hasn’t mentioned this to me at all. Specifically, I’m asking if I should have contact with my parent prior to me being subpoenaed?

Husband passed away with living trust and pour over will. He listed joint bank accounts with rights of survivorship as trust property but the trust general assignment specifically excludes those accounts held jointly with another. I’ve already moved the funds and closed the account as a joint account holder spouse. Can the beneficiaries or trustee file a petition to get half the accounts into the trust? My husband was told what to do before he died yet he did not and took actions with other accounts but not the bank account.
